පරිපූරක වර්ජනයෙන් රෝහල් කටයුතු අඩාලයි/Island-wide strike disrupt hospital services

පරිපූරක වෛද්‍ය සේවයට අයත් වෘත්තීන් 5 ක කාර්ය මණ්ඩල මේ වනවිට දීප ව්‍යාප්තව ආරම්භ කර ඇති අඛණ්ඩ වර්ජනය හේතුවෙන් රෝහල් කටයුතු අඩාල වී තිබෙනවා. අද (26) පෙරවරු 8.00 සිට ආරම්භ කර ඇති මෙම වර්ජනය හේතුවෙන් රසායනාගාර, එක්ස්රේ, ස්කෑන්, ඖෂධ නිකුත් කිරීම, භෟත චිකිත්සක සහ වෘත්තීය චිකිත්සක සේවා සියල්ලම බිඳ වැටී ඇති බවයි වාර්තා වන්නේ. උසස් වීම් ඇතුළු ඉල්ලීම් 6 ක් මුල් කර ගනිමින් ආරම්භ කර ඇති මෙම වර්ජනයට රජයේ රෝහල් සහ පළාත් රෝහල්වල පරිපූරක වෛද්‍ය වෘත්තිකයන් 5000 ක් පමණ එක්ව සිටිනවා.

The island wide strike staged by the employees of 5 professions under paramedic’s services has disrupted hospital services.

The strike which commenced at 8 this morning has disrupted the laboratory, X-ray, Scan and drug dispensing, physiotherapy and other services.

The strike was based on 6 demands including promotions and involves 5000 paramedics of government and provincial hospitals.
