බගවන්තලාව, තෙරේෂියා වතුයායේ දී ළමයින් 09 දෙනෙකු ඇතුළු පුද්ගලයින් 15 දෙනෙකු බඹර ප්‍රහාරයකට ලක්ව තිබේ.

ඊයේ(20) පස්වරුවේ ළමයින් පිරිසක් විසින් බඹර කූඩුවකට ගල් ගැසීම හේතුවෙන් බඹරු ඇවිස්සි ඇති අතර මෙම පුද්ගලයින් බඹර ප්‍රහාරයට ලක්ව ඇති බව පොලිසිය සඳහන් කළේය.

ළමුන් 09 දෙනෙකු සහ පිරිමි පුද්ගලයින් 05 දෙනෙකු සහ එක් කාන්තාවකට බඹර ප්‍රහාරයෙන් තුවාල සිදුවි ඇති අතර ඔවුන් ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා බගවන්තලාව රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කර තිබේ.

කෙසේ වෙතත් මොවුන්ගේ තත්ත්වය බරපතළ නොවන බව රෝහල් ප්‍රකාශකයෙකු සඳහන් කළේය

Fifteen persons including 9 children were injured and hospitalised following wasp attack at the Thereshiya Estate in Bogawantalawa.

 Police said that the wasp nest was disturbed after a group of children had pelted stones at it last evening.

 Nine children, 5 men and one woman were admitted to the Bogawantalawa Hospital following the wasp attack.

 However, a spokesman for the hospital said none of the patients are in critical condition.
